About Me

I am currently a PhD candidate at the Climate Change Research Centre (CCRC), University of New South Wales (UNSW), working with Prof. Matthew England, Dr. Laura Ciasto and Dr. Shayne McGregor.

My research focuses on large-scale air-ocean-sea ice interactions and climatic change in the Southern Hemisphere. In particular, using observational data, I have been examining large-scale Antarctic sea ice variability, and characterising contemporary sea ice trends. Some of my more recent work involves using numerical models of the atmosphere to further understand tropical:extra-tropical connections, specifically in relation to longer-term changes in the Antarctic.
